PRESIDENT BUHARI ORDERS FOR RE-ENGINEERING OF SECURITY APPARATUS

President Muhammadu Buhari, has ordered for the reengineering of the nations entire security apparatus.

This was disclosed in a press briefing held by the National Security Adviser, Mr. Babagana Monguno, after the third National Security Council meeting in the year 2020 at the Presidential Villa.

Mr. Monguno, called for calm, saying the President is working tirelessly with the security chiefs to bring an end to the security challenges in the Northwest and North-central states.

He also added that they addressed the issue of drug addiction and trafficking in Nigeria as the country has moved from being a transit hub into a drug production center, calling for a wholesome national approach in ending the drug menace.

The N.S.A expressed his displeasure with the recent attack on the Borno State Governor’s convoy and said a concise statement will be released after the virtual Nigeria Governors Forum meeting.

Speaking on the Southern Kaduna killings Mr. Moguno said it is a political matter and the State Governor is doing his best to tackle the situation.
