EPL MANAGER SAYS LEICESTER MIDFIELDER WILFRED NDIDI WILL BE FIT TO PLAY SOON

Manager of English Premier League side, Leicester City, Brendan Rodgers, says Wilfred Ndidi is a few weeks from being fully fit to play despite returning to training two months after he sustained an abductor injury.

Rodgers told a news conference yesterday ahead of Leicester City’s trip to Liverpool that Ndidi is out on the field training but still has a number of weeks to go, adding that he is progressing well.

The Super Eagles midfielder has been out of action after suffering an injury in the Foxes’ 4-2 loss to Burnley in a Premier League game in September.

Ndidi was initially ruled out until late December after undergoing surgery for the abductor injury and had missed the last four games of the Super Eagles.
