NORTH CENTRAL PROGRESSIVE GROUP ADVOCATES FOR EQUALITY IN LEADERSHIP DISTRIBUTION

The North Central progressive group is advocating for equality in leadership distribution to allow every region participate in the governance of the country.

The chairman of the group, Mr. Benjamin Sanni in a media briefing in Abuja decried the marginalization experienced by particularly the north central region of the country .

He noted that the North Central is yet to produce a President or even a vice president adding that zoning process had placed the political wheel running as any alteration will only stir division in the country.

According to him, the leadership of the country has been hovering around other regions relegating the North Central to the background.

Mr Sanni further said that equity is key as the country approaches the election period, equality should be allowed to give room for citizens in the north central region to contribute their quota to the governance of the country.

He assured that the North Central is endowed with political potentials personalities and is fully ready to take up the leadership of the country.

The group therefore called on other regions to support its advocacy on equal distribution of leadership, as that is the only way to conquer the divisibility Factors that have been affecting the unity of the country.
