TRANS AFRICAN STUDENTS PRESENTS AWARD TO MD OF ABUJA BROADCASTING CORPORATION

President Muhammadu Buhari has been commended for his deliberate steps in fighting poverty and encouraging education.

The managing director and chief executive of Abuja broadcasting corporation Malam Ibrahim lawan Damisa gave the commendation while receiving the executives of the Trans African Students initiative in his office in Abuja.

Malam Damisa said the the present administration’s drive to improving school enrollment is one of the ways to tackle insecurity.

Earlier, the head of operations Trans African students initiative from Ivory Coast Honourable Austin kossi while presenting an award of Africa’s distinguished personality said through an interpreter that the award was in recognition of Malam Damisa’s distinguished contributions to broadcasting and student unionism.

The Trans African students initiative is a student organization established in 2012 as a peer review for students from East ,West and South African countries.
