TRCN INDUCTS 300 TEACHERS IN UNI ABUJA

The registrar and chief executive officer of teachers registration council of Nigeria (TRCN ) has urged the inducted graduands of Bachelor degree in education to be ICT compliant.

 

Prof Josiah Ajiboye made the call while inducting the sixth graduating students for bachelor degree in education in university of Abuja.

He said ICT is the medium through which teachers can teach and learners can learn real classroom situation.

Prof Ajiboye encouraged the students to be good models and worthy ambassadors of the University of Abuja.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the dean faculty of education Prof. Umar Benedict cautioned the graduands to follow the ethical code of conduct for teachers and avoid unethical practice.

He advised the graduands to apply all the modes of teaching and have good human relation with their students and colleagues.

He tasked them to cultivate the ability to carry out research and be computer literate in order to have knowledge on how to get information from the internet.

In an interview with journalists, the deputy dean faculty of education Prof, Mathew Dada called on the graduands to be diligent and morally upright in serving the interest of their students in a manner that promotes confidence and integrity of public service and the Profession.

Over 400 students sat for the qualifying QPE and about 300 students passed.
