Abuja/Suleja Chapter Of IPMAN Begin Strike Action

The Abuja/Suleja Chapter Of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (IPMAN), Have Reportedly Stopped Lifting Of Fuel. The Strike Action  Followed Their Warning Yesterday Over Alleged Extortion By Officials Of The Department Of Petroleum Resources, DPR. The Chairman Of The Body, Alhaji Yahaya Ahman Alhassan Had Stated That

The Strike Action Would Commence Immediately. The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association Of Nigeria, Ipman Also Stated That They’ve Been Having Constant Disagreement With The Department Of Petroleum Resources, DPR, Over Request For Daily Transactions Record From Filling Station.

The Chairman Said It Had No Other Alternative Other Than Instructing Members Not To Load From Suleja Depot In Niger State To Express Their Frustrations After All Efforts To Make Dpr Officials Desist From Unethical Practices Failed.

According To Him, The Ipman Abuja/Suleja Unit, Demands An Explanation From The Department Of Petroleum Resources, DPR, In Connection With The Daily Request For Sales Activities From Filling Stations.

He Remarked That The Issues Have To Be Resolved Before They Can Commence Lifting Of Products From The Depot.
